Greetings from Phonics Club!

This is to invite all of you that we are organizing our annual training session on teaching of English in Lahore ,Karachi and Islamabad.It would be very helpful for teachers,educators,councellors and administrators.
This training session is organised to spread awareness about teaching through synthetic phonics aproach using latest program providers.

Coral is a Jolly Learning, Phonics International and Floppy´s Phonics trainer; has world wide experience and has been trained by Sue Lloyd, Debbie Hepplewhite and Ruth Miskin in England.Qualified as a teacher in Britain, started her career teaching in England followed by some time in Egypt before finally joining the Spanish Ministry of Education/British Council “Bilingual Project”.After implementing Jolly Phonics, Coral achieved high standards of literacy, and has founded “Jolly Centres” in Spain, where children, parents and teachers enjoy her lively training.Coral was providing synthetic phonics teacher-training, years before the UK government.Recently has been invited by SM. –Spanish Publisher- to work collaboratively to develop a systematic synthetic phonics programme suitable for young learners “Power Phonics”.

Coral is a “Synthetic Phonics Ambassador” and works closely with Education Inspectors, Universities and Local Authorities; jointly with her team of trainers Coral delivers training all over the world.Coral qualified as a teacher in Britain after obtaining her Final Diploma as a Translator and Interpreter in Spanish – English from the Institute of Linguists, London –Honours Degree– and TESOL Certificate from Trinity College London.
Started her career teaching languages in Secondary Schools in Suffolk and Essex, England in 1991, followed by some time in Egypt (1997) before finally joining the Bilingual Project Spanish Ministry of Education – British Council – 1998 to 2009.After teaching with Jolly Phonics, years before the UK government itself recommended that this was indeed the way forward for beginning reading and spelling instruction!Coral achieved high standards of literacy and trained teachers at the British Council, Madrid, jointly with Sue Lloyd.Currently she advises and trains state and private schools, Local Authorities and Institutions from Infant to Primary and Secondary Education.She developed units of work integrating “Synthetic Phonics” and assessment for learning into the Spanish Ministry of Education – British Council Bilingual Curriculum. She also collaborates with various Spanish Universities as University of Valladolid and University College Worcester as a tutor and trainer of British students and the University of Alcala in Madrid.Coral has been invited by SM. –Spanish Publisher- to work collaboratively to develop a systematic synthetic phonics programme suitable for beginners and infants “Power Phonics”, teaching and learning programme which is fully in line with the synthetic phonics teaching principles as described in the UK government’s Letters and Sounds guidance manual.She has trained British Council teachers: Madrid, Bilbao, Barcelona, Valencia, Portugal and Italy.Coral has been invited to train teachers in England, Egypt, Lebanon, Pakistan, Switzerland, Italy and most recently Malaysia.For more information visit her website http://coralgeorge.com/
